Community Commitment
Midwest Computech values community involvement and plays an active role in many associations both community based and philanthropic.
- We value the integral role Chamber associations play with business development and community growth. As such, we are active members of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce, and Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce. With employees actively involved and sitting on committees focused on Small Business Development, High School Leadership Programs, Local Business Conferences and Emerging Professionals we make the growth of our company and our community a priority.
- At Midwest Computech we firmly believe that community involvement is the backbone of any successful business. We have long been community partners with Heart of Missouri United Way through fundraising efforts, IT support, and Fund Allocations committee chair roles.
- Continued support through fundraising and IT needs of the Columbia Area Boys and Girls Club is part of the corporate culture with employees participating in events and educational opportunities for the Club.
- Employees
have taken an active role in the The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri Buddy Pack Program through monthly food packing events.
- A recent devastating fire at the Latham R-V School, a Midwest Computech client, meant the loss of most school supplies and appliances. MCT has been the supply organizer for the community, creating and hosting the centralized webpage for supply lists, contact information, and of course student pictures. - Midwest Computech is the presenting sponsor for the second year, for the annual John Anderson Celebrity Golf Tournament which benefits the Anderson Family Charitable Foundation, providing funds to assist under-served elementary school-aged children and the Buddy Pack Program. - Midwest Computech has also taken an active role in other community associations with employees sitting on the various School Boards and City Councils.
