Latham Fire Fund

On Wednesday, December 15th at 3 a.m, Latham R-V School was found engulfed in flames. Shortly after the call came into emergency services, six area fire departments were on scene battling the blaze. By the time the fire was put out the damage was devastating, including total destruction of the main brick building, heavy smoke damage to the office area and gymnasium, and other damages to the east areas of the facility.
Classes have been canceled for the more than 60 kindergarten thru eighth graders for at least the rest of the week and will be held at a local church starting in January while plans for the future are determined.

During this time of recovery the mid-Missouri community is rallying together to help bring the Latham R-V School much needed supplies and support. The schools need both supplies and funds for the rebuilding process and your help is appreciated.
