Midwest Computech recently attended the MoASBO, Missouri Association of School Business Officials, conference at Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake of the Ozarks. The MoASBO Spring Conference gives attendees the ability to network with other professionals and learn and connect with public school business officials on a big scale. It was great to see a lot of our customers at the conference and we made a lot of new school contacts, met officials, and got to hang out with the team and several friends. One of our good friends from California, MO. Susie Gorrell, won an award. We enjoyed learning more at the presentations and training at the event. One big topic at the conference was cybersecurity. We sat in on the MUSIC insurance’s presentation and the MSBA cybersecurity presentation, presented by Missouri School Boards’ Associations. Bob Klausmeyer. Many schools throughout the state are ramping up their cybersecurity practices for the 2020-2023 school year.
